It is probably the first, if not the only BD (stand alone) player to come out this year, that is video 1.1 compliant. As Oscar said, it saves space and clutter. Again, if I didn't already have a player for each format, I'ld probably buy this one.

or those missing HDMI and dual sets of 6 channel analog bypass. In my case, it saved an extra set of six cables (though I spent more for the cables than a cheap Toshiba HD DVD player would have cost me).
