After all these years, sad to lose them for competitive reasons. Not clear if the new owners will continue the Philips name.

Philips is the incredible shrinking man. In the beginning of the 80�s the company had about 80 thousand employees in the Netherlands and now less than 14 thousand and still decreasing. There comes a time when they only have their headquarters left over in the Netherlands.
