become crime-solving partners outside of Moscow. Meglin and his beautiful protege begin to solve some of the most heinous and mysterious crimes in the country. From what I've seen, Meglin has no method other than his own insanity and alcohol. Interesting and different, its sixteen episode length might be a real buzz kill after three or four. NF.
