"Black Adam". Not out yet, haven't seen it, don't plan to, but here's a review.

Another Dwayne, the Rock, Johnson special. Another superhero (DC, not Marvel) special.
The previews had that odor to them, but here's scathing confirmation.

As a whole, the DC franchise hasn't been doing as well as Marvel's bunch. Sounds like this one won't change that.

No advance press, no advance release, opening in October.

Disclaimer: No affiliation. I can't stand comic book movies.

Sounds like a "bad taste" film -- I'll be there! *, posted on October 22, 2022 at 12:28:57

We sacrifice the one for the good of the many.

It is an absolute shame that Johnson is WASTED in this bit of awful.

He is such a likeable guy and I suspect could do a LOT better than this....and has......

He was fine in San Andreas.......
Too much is never enough

This film has no pretensions. It's a bonafide, Hollywood, money-making machine. "Ends" is a critical success compared to this but who cares? There is more fighting and fussing per capita than almost any other Super Hero epic I've seen. More dead people and CGI than imaginable. The sad part was there was no pulchritude included. No real eye candy to distract one from the stern, menacing gaze of Black Adam.

For the monocle wearers, just skip it and enjoy it on cable.

Yes, this was an unlovable Rock but it was a break of sorts.
