Me too. I wasn't ready for a new Bond. I thought "Skyfall" was one of the better recent Bond films, especially with the incomparable Albert Finney.

Good, now we don't have to worry about the other troubling candidate for the role..., posted on August 16, 2017 at 13:08:35

He's no gentleman and no pussy. I think this is who Fleming had in mind. One thing, I don't think it's time for Idris Elba or Charlene Theron to stop up. Bond needs to stick to the books on his character and not result in more social engineering. Perhaps, Mark Strong or Jack Black or Dev Patel?

Craig's character doesn't give a shit about much of anything except loyalty. Which is what a job like Bond's calls for. There's no going back, IMO.

Shit - he'd make David Niven seem like the perfect James Bond.

From the movie High Fidelity. A character so full of excrement and vinegar that one must excercise extreme patience and self restraint in order to prevent yerself from strangling the putrid life out of that miserable source of irritation. Jack Black.

But of course I'm kidding.....just a little bit.
