Less mindless, stupid bear stunts and lots more PLOT! This was actually a well-produced crime drama.

Did that for effect. Actually, the story framed up Paddington and sent him to prison where he became friends with Nuckles (Gleeson) who enjoined him to escape so he could clear his name for the theft of a rare pop-up book.

Hugh Grant hammed it up playing a has been actor looking for money to produce a new show for himself. He was quite entertaining and so brave to be a lead in a "kids" movie. But I can say that about Hawkins, Bonneville, Broadbent, and Fittipaldi as well.

Very entertaining and the CGI is beyond stupendous. I'm not sure how they create and shoot Paddington but he is right up there with Rocket.

Lots of you won't admit to seeing this but sneak on in with your collars hiked up. Very enjoyable.

Four outta Five wonks.

I have heard other very convincing reviews about the quality of that film.

I rarely attend films aimed at kids, I'm 66, but when I do it is often cartoons, because of my effection for the form. At least I am not a snob, fun is where you find it.
