Snzzzz.

Truly, if you've seen one, you've seen them all . . .

After twenty minutes I was in the "kill me already" stage. This one was dino's on the cheap. Most of the action was at night and/or indoors. Saved the CGI wizards a lot of coloring in, I suppose. I mean, each installment is a new set of greedy bad guys getting eaten in the same old ways. If you've got a kid, I guess they will get a kick out of it. The plot is pretty much the same: save dinos, clone dinos for big bucks, oops--dinos get out of control.

This episode seems to be the least satisfying of all the rest. Just hit the REPLAY button and let it rip.

Jeff Goldblum had a cameo in which he talked indecipherable nonsense the whole time. That's it.

No kids? No go.

1 wonk for going to the effort of making another one
4 wanks for all the sleepwalking during the entire creative process

Thanks. Right in line with all other reviews. The best I read was that it sucked, but they were totally committed to it sucking, so it had some credibility.

Wow. That's twisted.

The reviewer also said that a severed arm got more air time than Goldblum.

This franchise went in the toilet after #3.... Everything else has been a yawn ever since!

I might go see it, I have a senior discount, so it is not a solid burn if the picture doesn't go off 100% great. I think this show could be a fun watch, I only saw the first one, because of the critics on the latter efforts. I hear this one is better than most of the series.

I was told this is a big loud movie, indeed the reviewer said this was the main attraction of the movie, the effects, and without a dynamic presentation in a big house , the picture won't cut it.

Since I have had a life long interest in dinosaurs, and the presentation will never be better than in a first run theatre for me, I will probably see it before it falls off the screen. I enjoy seeing the money on the screen, even if that is the best they can do, I don't expect more than the promised product, a summer family movie, not an art piece. Critics, they have like, standards and stuff.

Go for it. Carrying standards is such a load., posted on June 26, 2018 at 07:18:56

Only thing I worry about is how so many people say that much of it is shot "dark," and 3D glasses are sure to exacerbate that.

I ignored the story and had fun. I think the dinos looked terrific, posted on July 7, 2018 at 12:08:40

...and I thought it was fun.

Yep, it wasn't a whole lot different than the others.

So what?

I thought it was better than the last one.

Now we have a while to figure out what the next sequel will involve.
