In any case, I didn't get to your link because I got a pop-up screen which wanted me to OK HuffPo accessing my computer, setting cookies, etc. - so I declined. Like the old saying goes, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you! ;-)

Thanks! for sharing-

not a bad list. Halloween should have made the cut (no pun).

Eight Grade at 7, First Reformed not on list at all. Nonsensical. Two New York Times critics put out lists today that are much meatier.

Never heard of them. Hope never to see them. Nt, posted on December 5, 2018 at 14:48:30

I praised the Rider here a couple months back. A very good film with amateur actors playing their real life parts. The second was Annihilation which was a OK summer popcord type film IMO.

...just out last night.

Best Motion Picture - Drama
"Black Panther"
"BlacKkKlansman"
"A Star Is Born"
"Bohemian Rhapsody"
"If Beale Street Could Talk"

Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy
"Crazy Rich Asians"
"The Favourite"
"Green Book"
"Mary Poppins Returns"
"Vice"

I haven't seen Vice, but it's not a musical so it must be a comedy.

I had seen The Rider back when you posted here. I just didn't chime in. I enjoyed it and the horse getting hit on the highway was so unexpected.

You might also enjoy Leave No Trace with Ben Foster.

I have seen Leave no Trace. I was moved by it. I did visits with Vietnam vets with PTSD. It can and often is a devastating condition.
The kid who worked with horses in the Rider has amazing skill. A real horse whisperer.
