I bought a Niles audio HD LCRBX center speaker at a rummage sale today. Are these speakers any good? I was thinking about replacing by existing center speaker with this one. My home theater set up is really weak. It is a cheap, one box Yamaha solution with for little speakers and a pretty small center speaker. When I play music through that existing set up it sounds pretty bad. I was thinking about maybe trying to find decent higher grade receiver and adding a couple of better front speakers. Is it worth building around the Niles speaker?

I believe that speaker has an MSRP of $470 & can also be used as a right or left front speaker, hence the Left,Center, Right bookshelf speaker...good find and I will let these guys tell you more....

What to do with it? Swap out the Yammy center with the Niles. Won't take more than a minute or two., posted on October 14, 2017 at 08:42:16

Then play something you're thoroughly familiar with. Remember, if it's a different efficiency than the Yammy, you may have to increase or decrease its volume (thru your receiver). If you like the sound better, keep it in the system. If not, Craigslist it for a hundred. I'm betting you'll like it
