I saw a 4k 65" set today for $600.

65" 4K OLED is now down to $1500.

Nutty.

Our 65" Panasonic plasma (LOVE it btw) finally started having an issue after 7 years. A light pink spot, about 8" in diameter, roughly circular, is visible in "white" scenes (snow, or other white backgrounds). Probably will wait til the holiday season when crazy prices get even crazier.

LG is the only one who males OLED panels. Everyone else gave up a while ago. Sony sells an OLED TV, but its an LG panel with Sony electronics. Samsung make a QLED which is supposed to be very good though.

Samsungs did that also. I managed to adjust most of that out
using certain video settings...can't remember just which ones,
this was several yrs. ago, have not had anymore issues since then.

found the fix, which was go into the service menu, scroll to VSUS, change it from Low To High and enter a 3 (or was it 4?) setting. Bingo, probably 80% gone. That pink shadow is just a shadow of its former self and appears to be a well known problem in older plasmas.

To get to the service menu (depending on your model) you need to physically hold the volume down button on the tv while pressing the "info" button on the remote 3 times.

I'd suggest reading the thread thru as you can really mess up your set in the service menu if you hit the remote's volume key at the wrong time once in the service menu. Also write down your settings in case you do this. My pink, which was VERY noticeable on a white background, has almost disappeared.

Good luck to ya

FYI, I never had to go into the service menu, or knew how.
Seemed there was enough options in the standard settings to
pull it off.
