Thanks for the review. He's polarizing. Definitely. But I would not insult him by comparing him to the Drugster.

On a personal note, I met him in Denver at the Tattered Cover and I wanted to get his new book signed as a gift to a brother.

Once I got up to the table, I absolutely froze (I never imagined I would be star struck by someone who really isn't what one would call a star)

I just stood there like an idiot. Moore quickly realized and started the conversation, "So how's it going?" and then I could talk.

We had a nice little chat about my big brother. My big brother designed the new sign for the Aurora theater--sight of the mass shooting. And of course "Bowling For Columbine" covers the Columbine mass shooting, which I watched live at my desk in DTC on the news the day it happened, just about 10 miles away from my office.

Also, he had a very light grasp, but sincere hand shake (you know sincerity when you feel it). And he really looks at you in the eyes when he shakes your hand. He also was pretty softly spoken.

Unusual I thought, considering I was just one of a couple hundred in line. I found him to be cordial, likable, humorous, and not rushed at all. (yes-intended)

Here's the sign my brother (graphic artist) designed for the theater reopening.
