A book written by a woman, screenplayed by three women, and directed by a woman. I was not meant to understand or enjoy this "film".
Two, Lawrence's body is no longer fit for full exposure. (Okay, I'm not a woman, so I lack empathetic understanding.)
Some will think this is art.
Follow Ups:
----------------------
"E Burres Stigano?"
The story follows the book the best of them all and the sumptuousness
of the entire venture will put "Die My Love" into the past quicker than
you can say "It's Alive!"
To say it's a lovingly crafted work of art is an understatement.
"Once this was all Black Plasma and Imagination" -Michael McClure

I had plunked down my $25 (ticket and snacks), and the first thing that pops up on screen is NETFLIX. Ugh. I need to read notices in advance.
Liked it okay. Mostly a visual thing, which I didn't mind. Interesting, you say this follows the book most closely. Only read the comic book. (No surprise there.)
I watched it Saturday night. Acting is very good. The effort that went into this film to create the processes and locations is monumental. I enjoyed the journey.
