I never saw the whole Volume One nor any of Volume Two. This was both volumes re-edited and joined by an intermission, with the addition of an anime segment added to Volume One. It was about four and a half hours altogether, and I will never do that again.
My one thought upon leaving the theater was, "What's the point?"
If you are a martial arts junkie, this is your Mecca. It seemed to be non-stop violence with a very small plot mixed in. I never warmed to any character except for Lucy Liu and her exotic good looks. Although Uma completely transformed when she rarely smiled and looked like an Uma I've never seen before.
'Kill BIll', for me, is out of its time zone.
Follow Ups:
Love both volumes altho the final scene with the Bride and Bill was a bit of a letdown. Even bought an album by the bar band who played Woo Hoo in the House Of Blue Leaves
TBF, I watched each volume as they came out and several times over the years. I couldn't sit through 4.5 hours of that

"E Burres Stigano?"
of four and a half hours had some effect on me. I probably liked the closing out of Bill and Uma's relationship at the end the best. The anime is new, but I was expecting additional content, which wasn't there.
