        It�s a pity you can�t read Spanish, as there�s an excellent book "Cocinar hizo al Hombre" ("Cooking made Man"), by Faustino Cordon, a professor in Biochemistry and an ardent evolutionist, which is simply fascinating: in it he explains how cooking paved the way to make man a more intelligent species.
        If I ever find it translated, I�ll remind you about it.

    ...close to the market of La Boqueria (not so different from what Les Halles used to be in the good old times, whores included), and he spends three months a year there, experimenting with new textures, and combining tastes...
    Not my cup of tea, but a friend of mine goes there three or four times a year (it�s some 500 km from Valencia) and he seems to enjoy it...
