I had low expectations of this movie, but was pleasantly surprised: It's your basic boy-meets/breaks up with/reunites with/girl movie with some silly slapstick humor which made me smile, and Terry Bradshaw's portrayal of the father is a winner. Favorite scene: The sporting goods store, as the heroine's insane roomate attempts to buy a shotgun.

HD DVD video looks terrific as you might expect.

The special features include interviews of real live-at-home "kids" and their parents, and in some ways I envy them because their parents are so supportive, but in others...yes, it would suck to bring a date home as an adult in your 30s, I think!

I thought the movie had a failure to launch basically (sorry for the pun). There were some funny scenes, but overall it left me bored. Maybe my wife enjoyed this for the eye candy, but it didn't help me that SJP is butt ugly.

Sorry to disagree but I thought this was horrible. I love Sarah Jessica Parker but she has made some big screen clunkers since leaving SATC.
