Thanks.
But I just look to the films on Blue Ray...VERY expensive and Titles I don´t care..
Few good films from England but at $ 60, I will not buy thm as I have these titles already..
Well I bought it for regular dvd´s.
Now I will buy one title for the sake of having one...

I don't have blu-ray, but I have been playing with HD content on my HD computer monitor. It is stunningly impressive. I have the DVD set of BBC's Planet Earth series, and the HD versions I obtained of some episodes simply blows the DVDs away.
But the quantity of movies on this format is quite limited. In truth, once I've seen a movie in a theater, I'm not that anxious to see it at home anytime soon. I used DVDs for primarily the great classics that came out before I was born- these are not out on blu-ray. At least not yet.
Nevertheless, once I get an HDTV (thinking about it), I will surely get a blu-ray player. Planet Earth alone is enough for me- and with the format gaining some traction, I think some of the good stuff will start to appear. It was said that Criterion would start releasing blu-rays. OK, I have probably 50 or 75 Criterion DVDs. They do an excellent job, and they choose well (not always, but usually).
Did for vinyl...He-he...
I did not buy the bLue Ray player because of BR but because it gives to my plasma an all digital signal and that if far more convincing and SHARPER ( when you get old sharper IS good ) on " normal " Dvd-
I hope you are fine,

And then you'll hold off buying new films on DVD and wait for the BD release before adding them to your collection, and then you'll want to replace some of your old favourites simply because they look and sound so much nicer.
You just wait and see, especially when you see the first 3 for the price of 2 BD disc sale, or some special promotion. You won't stop at one. No one does.

I will. Because I have the age to think " contend " above show off.
And I don´t think that all of my DVD´s ever will reach the Blue Ray shore.
