We certainly wouldn't waste 7 hours watching the Wimbeldon finals. And how could you waste time typing messages on the internet when you could be caring for lepers.

What he did isn't at all like basejumping. You or I could do that. We could never do what he did... and very few people who've ever lived could have done it.

So the answer to the question of why watch it? Is it significant? is... The uniqueness of the talent, the event and the level of Human spirit.
