Darjeeling Limited is fun. Built on a solid and clever dialog, well, consistently constant (!) it has not a weak moment, and that for a road movie!
The package?
Good photographed, fine actors, very good music, Yes the music is wonderful, the sound is excellent...
From a director I never liked save in small portions...This is wonderful for me.
My friend Claudia would have like it...

...haven't seen Darjeeling Limited but I may check this out now.

I enjoy road movies - comedies or dramas - if they're good ones. I'm fond of Paper Moon, The Sure Thing, Thelma & Louise, Sideways, many others.

  I was nearly certain I would not like it even I always have found by this director traces of some thing I may love.
  
  It was so much better than what I expect, in fact I felt almost in love with it.
  The scenery, the colors the clever dialogs, the fatality of life....
  Strong and colorful.
  
  The one point I would like to criticises is the absolute lack of erotism, if only west would have show us a piece of a breast, or a bottom for a quarter of second while the making love scene!

Not quite "Thelma and Louise", but if driving a truckload of TNT through tropical heat counts as a road flick - this one may be one of my faves.

Grodin, in particular, is very good in this one. An interesting, quirky character, well developed by the script.

I've put Darjeeling in the Netflix queue-merci!

  An magnificient film, one day after seeing it, it still gets better and better.
  I am thinking of buying it.

... is one of my favourites. Little Miss Sunshine, Familia Rodante, Sideways (?), Motorcycle Diaries all great. Yes I guess I'm a fan although I wouldn't single them out as a genre.

Will look out for Darjeeling Ltd. I agree about the director, he is idiosyncratic.
