  We watched it on a double bill with 'Auf der anderen Seite' which made for an exceptional evening.

    In what a language did you watch it?
    After writing those few words yesterday, I ask myself how in God´s name can this be translate in a foreign language and how will it sound?

      The version we watched at home was in French, Arabic and I think there was a bit of Russian as well with English subtitles through out.
      
      The French parts were translated fairly well but I have no idea how well the Arabic bits were done.
      
      Habib Boufares was a joy to watch and any film that centres around food as a unifying force is good in my book.
