That line is all that's needed to affirm how little Tina Sinatra knows about the movie business. Unless you're doing something off-the-edge ("I'm Not There") the leading man must have some resemblance to the character in question-i.e., slim, dark, delicately featured. Clooney, though a decent enough actor, is a big ol' WASPy galoot. Leo C would probably work well enough, or Johnny Depp I suppose, though I'd be doing screen tests even with name actors-it takes some real chops to 'become' a known entity the way that P.S. Hoffman became Capote. Keanu Reeves, for instance, is ideal physically, but...well, you get my drift.
"dammit"
Follow Ups:
Depp could do Sinatra well, and Connick Jr. too, but in other ways.
Tina Sinatra would probably think Dakota Fleming should be good to portray her.
