This is not a movie, but it is out on DVD. It's British sitcom along the lines of "Friends", but much better, with writing every bit as good as in "Seinfeld." INHO, one of the best comedy series ever. Anyone else seen it?
Follow Ups:
Yes. One of our favorites. We have the series on DVD.

Just do yourself a HUGE favor and never EVER watch the American remake.
I guess we pulled off "The Office" on a watchable level, but the US version of "Coupling" is simply abysmal!
I really enjoyed it too, have all the DVDs, watched several times over the years. I don't really know much about Friends, but I can see how one could say it's somewhat similar, superficially at least. The only Friends I have seen is that on the 4 "best of" DVDs (cheap), and I thought those were pretty decent. But I have no sense of continuity of episodes or storylines like I do with Coupling.
I thought the 4th series of Coupling got rather weird, I didn't like Coupling so much after Richard Coyle left, so I'd say stick to the first 3 series. Though the "replacement guy" was good of himself, and there are still some great episodes, the writing spark seemed to have gone.
The reason most British "series" are so short is they don't use rooms full of writers like most successful American shows do. A couple writers (e.g. The Office) or one writer (Coupling) can only put out so much. I think they get burnt out by the schedule, lots of IMO the best British comedy shows didn't last that long.
