such as, "I wonder who has the widest mouth, Cameron, Angelina, Julia?"
Cruise is good, surprisingly.
It's a good Bond-type film, ridiculous stunts with inferior FX (that's redundant) but nice location shots in Seville and Salzburg.
Worse ways to wile away a few hours, I suppose.
I didn't exit the theater feeling cheated or dirty.....
Follow Ups:
I got dragged along with my wife and daughter. We all thought it was flat. Lots of action with no intensity added by the actors, uh, lack of acting.

not the me me look at me stuff the MI was.
Instead Knight and Day has a few nice scenes, dreamlike sequences, human elements and fun.
I enjoyed some of the music as well.
Overall a nice time.

...in the weekend box office with only a little over $20 million.
Beat by Toy Story and....Adam Sandler?
Is Cruise done?

of person who might have the flair to rush out to see their glory boy Tom. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Cruise was great in the lead role, and Diaz, too was very good. I was highly entertained.

When it comes to popcorn movies, Cruise is one of the premier leading commodity...such promise and potential in his earlier days as an actor.

The wife and I saw it with another couple. We all enjoyed it, lots of twists and turns, a few surprises. Only a minimal number of dumb things done to further the plot.
Tom Cruise, perfectly cast as an arrogant, good looking, and a tad crazy lead in a neo Bond type role. Diaz's acting in top order and looked great in that bikini.
Good writing, some snappy dialog, about the best there is when the budget climbs above 50 mills.
Special effects? Thank God! I still remember all too well the crappy effects of movies from the sixties and earlier. I'll take a bull that doesn't quite move right or an explosion that seems too sharp over the trash effects of several decades ago.
