But when I asked that same question a few months back, I was pretty much alone with that thought.
Then again, folks here seemed to have enjoyed Knight & Day and I thought it was flat with lackluster performances (as did my wife and daughter).
So, don't go by me !

it is the type of movie that they embassingly admit to have enjoyed despite the typical formula it has.
to clarify about Knight and Day I liked it better than most of the summer fare so far this year. It is good mindless fluff, it has imagination, some nice scenery and a little humor.

Agreed.
The Book of Eli has a twist at the end that makes you re-think the entire film. My son and I went to see it again to try and catch hints to the twist.
