Yes, it's true. Attended with the significant other (SO) and I enjoyed it far more. DiCaprio is quite good in a very predictable way. He's developed into a dependably satisfying actor who doesn't let mannerisms or quirks get in his way.
The plot's needless complexity bothered me less, perhaps because I let it "come to me" and didn't try to understand it.
There are far worse ways to spend a few hours. Still, I can't understand those that see it as anything else but much more clever than average entertainment.
It's certainly a far, far better film than the severely limited "Matrix."

point on unnecessary complications. Too many reviewers like to use their pulpit to show us how smart they are. Art is open to interpretation so nobody is really right---well, the author or director could be right.
