are assigned the task of assassinating Nazi collaborators after the Germans occupied Copenhagen. As their bloody workload increases, they begin to realize that the motives of their superiors may not be pure. At the same time, these cold-blooded, dangerous hits begin to weigh both on their consciences and on their nerves.
Unlike most films of this sort, "F & C," takes time fully to develop the characters of the two leads, and that of several other key players. Mads Mikkelson stars and gives his usually superb performance. Suspense, excellent action sequences, and an exposé of wartime "heroism" that is impossible in Hollywood.

Hey, I was scrolling through the posts and saw this. Good to know someone else enjoyed this film as much as I did. The two main characters are developed subtly but expertly, and by the time the shit really hits the fan, you care about them and are rooting for them. As the film goes along, you get the feeling these guys are really special people, even though you've never heard of them, they have serious flaws, and we don't understand all that's going on around them. When we are told just before the final credits that they were later honored as heroes by their countrymen, our instincts about these guys are rewarded and the emotional impact is well deserved, not the cheap variety we see so much of these days in movies. Highly recommended for those who like their Nazi-killer action films presented with inelligence and complexity.
