The first film was bad... but I simply can't believe how much worse this one is. We often curse Hollywood for giving us crap... well, here the Europeans have taken the lead, I am afraid.

It was trash no doubt but it had also some good moment.
The two others are still to be seen.
besides being a lesbos. This one moved more quickly but I liked the first one better as I didn't feel quite as dirty after it was over.
As with the "Pusher" series, Scandos have a greater appreciation of the "local" talent than we do.

Agree about the character, but she looked pretty good
during her interview on Charlie Rose the other night.

Even when she was naked, my eyes were glancing over furniture, window treatment, bottles selection... anything but her.
I agree, there was less of a sense of repulsion in the first film.

Victor,
Did you have a chance to read the books?
Even though there are far from being high quality literature, still, I've found them to be better, than the 1st. movie.
...who told me she thought the first two films were better than the books.
I liked the first book better than the film and can only think of a small number of films, like "Shutter Island" that did the books justice.
and really none I've liked better.
I'm reading the second book now, but will wait to see the films until I'm done.
...The House of Sang and Fog and DaVinci Code. Having suffered through the books I refused to see the films.
watch the better stuff.
I thought the second was better, quite a bit so. Less of the shock-value violence. More character development.
Pretentious, stupid and highly irritating in places.
