  Its been a long time since I've been to a film where the audience clapped at the end. The Fighter is a real crowd pleaser.

  ...went to see True Grit but it was sold out so we saw The Fighter.
  
  Christian Bale will win for Supporting Actor hands down.
  
  I'd give the film 4 out of 5 stars.
