Been saving it for the right time to watch it for the first time.
Very worth my time, and my, how Hollywood has changed..
Follow Ups:
...my daughter had to watch it for a class in high school.
Since I hadn't seen it before, I watched it with her.
Very memorable with a lot of lessons which apply to today's media and politics.
The remake from Showtime is also very, very good. The cast includes such legends as Henry Fonda, George C Scott, and Ossie Davis as well as nice performances from James Gandolfini and William Peterson.
Baba-Booey to you all!
At times drippy-syrupy feel-gooddish, and too artificial, but even with all those faults still a must see for good performances and if not real, then at least somewhat convincing atmosphere.Has much more in common with Jimmy Stewart's silly and lovable idealistic films (Mr. Smith, Little Shop, etc), than with reality... but so what? Sometimes we all need a good doze of positive emotions.

Khodorkovsky just found guilty in his second trial... where was Fonda when Khod needed him?

Let's talk about it "outside!"
There is a lot of great acting in that film, but, yes, his big moment was the best part of that film.
I saw, and liked, the recent Russian remake of the film called "12." This is a story structure that can be used to reflect a variety of different societal settings, issues, etc.
