Just watched this. I can't help feeling that after all the damage done from excessive risk taking and quite literally gambling with someone else's money that nothing has changed. Very sobering and discouraging.

Watching the guys who caused the financial meltdown (Summers and Geitner, particularly) then be put in charge of fixing it is unbelievable.
Talk about foxes in the chicken coop.
Not only did no one go to jail, but they all managed to keep getting their multi-million dollar bonuses.
It really makes me question the ideas of paying bills on time and living within your means. I'm starting to feel that's what suckers do, and if you aren't living for the moment your a fool.

Just ask someone who has had their house foreclosed how they feel.
When they took over Countrywide Mortgage they really screwed me over. At one point they sent me a fourclosure notice claiming I was four months delinquent while AT THE SAME TIME telling me I was two months ahead with no payment due. Neither condition was true, I was simply current. I'm still trying to clean up my credit report...and in the meantime all of my credit card rates have reset to the default level.

Watched it the other day. I admire the craft, of the film makers that is, but that is one depressing movie. Most of all because these guys are still running things.
I'll never do any business with them if I have the option. An ongoing nightmare, they couldn't keep track of payments to save thier lives. Finally sent letters to the CEO & everybuddy on their board. THAT got things straightened out.
