writing the intriguing plot. "Unforgiven" certainly owns much of its story line to Brando, or whoever wrote the final screenplay.
Pina Pellicer, the very beautiful woman playing Brando's love interest had a tragically short life. She died, of her own hand, at the age of 30. She very much reminds me of Audrey Hepburn as she had many critics.

It's one of the few DVDs I own. It would look beautiful if properly restored!
I consider it a flawed but fascinating film. All the actors are great, except Brando, who did a terrible job self directing. As much as I love the film, I alternate between that and laughing at Brando at times.
Kubrick was originally going to direct it, and one can only wonder how it would have turned out. Could have been the greatest western of all time, perhaps.
torn by conflicting and complex emotions, he's brilliant.
It's a shame few people could follow and not come away being offended. But people with attitude are treated that way. It would have been great had he directed other films. I really wish OEJ could be restored like LAWRENCE and SPARTACUS was. Ray
