It's meant to be a devastating attack on Ronald Regan and the materialistic 80's. At least that's what the writer says.

I found it to be one of the stupidest and pointless movies I've ever seen.

I don't use this word often describing a movie, but I'd say it was despicable.

Loved the acting, and deco, didn't care much for the plot, but appreciated the intent of the director.
