I was wondering when this sort of thing would start up.

If you want 'The Tree of Life' you have to buy it on blu-ray - no 'dvd only' package will be released.

Is this a freak occurrence, or the start of a trend?

        Don't believe the series is over. It was a bit contrived but hell, I've got 12 hours invested in it and want to see the lizard queen get what's coming.
        This show has the guts to present alienses as they truly are, not the lovable Spielberg cuties but ruthless beasts after our resources and women folk.
