    I played the bedroom scene with two brothers reading the book, several times, it is Caravaggio painting, not some "film". I am a sucker for such things.

      are many finer contemporary Brazilian films. "Vidas" is one of the two or three greatest Brazilian films and one of the greatest from any country, from any period.... period.
