I already said before that the Koreans are today leading the pack in style... where substance might be weak, through in to-die-for interiors and women, and you got a winning combination, leaving the likes of Charlotte Gainsbourg in the dust.
Murder, Take One, is one of those films. I suppose the main idea was to do something outrageous, groundbreaking - a murder investigation live on TV... well, that part is perhaps the least impressive. So my recommendation is to pay moderate attention to the plot, and more to the characters, the way they move, behave... and look. After all, this is an eye candy... not Hitch.
So call me silly, but I enjoyed ogling the wall decorations and impeccably selected suits, all set in a spanking-clean, ultra-modern, cold but incredibly beautiful police building. This ain't your NYC precinct... no doubt about it.
Some might find the film stimulating, some - depressing... well, it is about a murder, after all. But I think it warrants a look.

It's SO predictable, and boring.

Rating them is as close as they are ever going to get to them. :-)

but she crosses the ugly line really early.
Well, maybe that is not true, but then it is the only one I have seen. And no... I don't feel bad saying this... because I did not exactly force her to put her sex organs on my 9-foot screen, in plain sight. It was her decision.
Just like it was her decision to cut it off with scissors.
Why do "serious" actors do such things is beyond me.
But what does this have to do with the Korean movie? Perhaps just the fact that the Koreans display tons more good taste in their treatment of difficult material, heck, there is even no real nudity in this shocker!
Should they learn something from the Old World? Or should it be the other way around?

She mutilated a well-made plastic prop, but I suspect big shiver went down the audience's spine.
I know *I* could do without that scene. I didn't know Sark was into that stuff! But knowing Patrick - I now take many things in stride! :)
