Thoughts On "The Help?"...

....I loved it. I felt it was sensitively done, avoided plot lines that could very easily been put in to provide somewhat artificial melodrama and had wonderful character development. Cinematography was very nicely done too.

I was expecting at least a few threads on this over here but was surprised to see none (unless I missed it/them).

Best movie I saw this year amongst nominated films. Jessica Chastain lit up the screen didn't she?

...I'm sure it reminded him of his youth.
For me, I enjoyed the film but thought the Viola and Octavia were spectacular.
Best film was either The Artist or Descendents.

    ...although I grew up in Texas, we couldn't afford one.
    
    Now my grandparents living in Waco had a black cleaning lady who was treated like part of the family.
