see with the wife and both be pleasantly amused.
"The Artist" is little better, both are mediocre.
Woody's film should take the Best Film Oscar. It's several notches higher than these two.
Follow Ups:
...the three best I saw this year. The Artist was unique and for a silent film to hold your attention, charm and interest the audience it will be the Best Picture.
Jean Dujardin may win Best Actor as well.
I thought Descendents was very good and Clooney was terrific, but I did like Midnight better.
Midnight should win Woody Best Director.
The Help was also good and the should land Best Actress and Supporting Actress.
Hugo was an enchanting family film which used 3D to good advantage.

Tied with "The Iron Lady". You just can't out do a Brit supporting cast. Ifans was the best I've seen him and Streep was near perfect.Someone had mentioned the cheesy way the plays were presented in "Anonymous". Has anyone ever thought that was intended by the author? None of this lofty, rigid, booming, over-dignified soliloquies but men speaking as commonly on the street? It makes sense for the times they were first performed.
