are being ignored. Hollywood has become a disposal-film outlet. No balls.
"A Separation" easily was the best film featured at the awards; it truly was shocking that 2 competitors, one a Holocaust-genre effort that usually means a shoo-in, and another Israeli effort about a couple of Talmudic scholars, didn't prevail.
Ouch!
Iran defeats Israel?

Remember Hollywood is for the masses and the masses mean dollars you can't really expect your thoughtful art house movies to be rewarded. That would be like wondering why Nova doesn't get the ratings that the Kardashians get.
I agree. The Artist was a nice film that one doesn't really have to see again.A Separation was brilliant. The cinematography did make me feel like a voyeur, especially during the heated exchanges between the couples.
Tree of Life was still the best I've seen this year, with Melancholia a close second.

I KNEW you'd bitch about the Artist, which I loved, and still think about. Not interested in your politically correct foreign movies at all. Perhaps you should go back in your man-cave and sulk.
...your nonsense for a few to read.
But meanwhile around the world truly important things are being said.
