than story or action centered? Curious.
Follow Ups:
Katniss, the heroine of The Hunger Games is as different as night and day from Twilight's Bella. Katniss is skilled and very driven all while being quite selfless, risking her life for others.
Also the setting is far different. Hunger Games is set in a bad future where the world was destroyed by war and just, perhaps, a million in the US survived but live in a noble-surf type political system. Mixed in with this backwards society is some very high technology. Makes things interesting.
So, this is an action based story.

The similarities are obvious. I'm surprised no one has compared the two movies.

I haven't seen either but intend to see Battle Royale soon now that it is out on dvd.
I'm guessing many of the reviewers haven't seen it. Its been out on DVD, now its out on Blu-ray.

But after reading about it I may get it.
