It seems since NF let the world know it wanted out of the disk business they added wait times to 80% of anything I put on my list. Why don't they just close down the shop instead of making folks like me irritated beyond belief. My selections are not of the New Release variety and I never really had a problem with my eclectic selections before the business model change.
Between NF and ATT I have a lot of reasons to be mad.

You think anyone streams 8 1/2 to his i(am an idiot)Phone?
international films ("recent" being over the past seven or so years) and NONE of which are available. Among them also are more than a few classic films out on DVD that NF just doesn't care to acquire: the original "Wuthering Heights" and the spectacular spy thriller, "Ipcress Files" (the film that made Michael Caine a star).
I have 30 films left in my current list. After that, I'm out. My local library has plenty of international/"art" films and our local art film house is expanding w/4 more screens.
Seriously, what are you getting long waits on?
I get even new tv shows right away.
The only thing I see waits on are very recent movies.

I think they have the disks but delay them to discourage use. I have put somethings in the front rank for two months waiting for release and BOOM, I get a "very long wait" or "fuggedaboutit" out next to it.
Problem is, they are the only game in town. My metro area doesn't have one brick and motor rental store...if we did it would be the typical new releases.
...is what I see next to all of my selections in my queue, some of which have been on there for more than a month. Cutting their investment in hard copies in favor of streaming and pissing off customers to get them to change products is not a great business model. No wonder their stock tumbled as much as 16% today.
