Paul Newman, Bruce Willis, Jessica Tandy, Melanie Griffith in a very nice character study comedy-drama, which isn't really a comedy and isn't really a drama.

It's the kind of movie I wish they'd make more of... gives you a real feeling for a place and for the characters.

A very good movie. No gunfights. No car chases. Highly recommended.

...most-human role, playing this 'everyman' handyman with all sorts of problems. Everyone else, too, is excellent.

This is one of my favorite 'small' films, along with 'Around the Bend', 'Off the Map', and very few more.
