And even then, characterized as a "light piece of fluff", or something like that - which, to me, can't be further from truth.Besides being a great movie, with some great performances - it's one of the nastiest, meanest toward American society (and you could argue, people in general) pieces of work that I've seen in my whole life.
Everything and everyone is ridiculed, no one is spared - just the way it should be, and just the way I like it.
If you like "Happiness", "Very Bad Things", films of that nature - you have to do yourself a favor, and watch it.

Favorite character is the retarded brother of the hardware store owner- until I saw him in another movie, I actually thought he WAS retarded (not acting)! He was that good!
