It seems those that watch film are in the minority.
If we eliminate the "MacMovies," it's even smaller.

soon enough. Good show. Kinda of a reverse Homeland. Hell, it's got Truman's Best Friend in a great supporting role. That there alone should be enuf to capture yer interest. Altho I like it I dont think it has the "plot legs" to keep it interesting for more than a season or two before it starts jumping the shark or dumbing down for the mass audience.

I've seen a trend lately on television -- some of the shows are better than a lot of movies.
These latest FX offerings are really good, they are serial in development, some based on books by notable authors, and would make pretty good movies if ever developed for that format.
You call out a lot of worthy films here, tin, but a lot of the stuff in mainstream theaters isn't that great. Maybe the viewing options are equalling out a bit.
