just recently picked up on the fact that she's a local girl. Went to the neighborhood HS I drive by a couple times a day and the local (Sacramento) city college... whaddya know. The last 'big star' local I can think of is Tom Hanks. This would not be any surprise in some 'real city' but hey, we're just a little hick town!

    ... but we've been respectfully repped in the entertainment field. Actress Bebe Drake Hooks isn't on accompanying list, however. She played Mrs. Gaines on A Different World, amongst a myriad of movie-n-television guest starring roles. She's also done lots of commercials, too. BTW, former Connecticut poet laureate Marilyn Nelson also calls Sactown hometown. 73s para Sactown!!!
