The folks who bought the place opened a great restaurant of their own in that same location, with different food.
Their menu includes a Dave's Still Not Here burger, in homage to the previous owner.

Saw them live in 1973 in a small Augusta Georgia basketball auditorium. Sitting on wooden bleachers as they did their act it all seemed like a well done High School skit. The crowd a mix of young Solders from Ft Gordon were loud and appreciative both Cheech and Chong worked the place like pro's.
As always, life plays the best drama.
And yes, I am a C&C fan, much to my wife's dismay. The early ones.
