I saw the IMAX 3D version enjoyed it for what it is: mindless eye candy, esp Pepper Potts in a sports bra doing super hero type stunts. I thought Ben Kingsley's "character" was actually kinda fascinating and could have been developed more than it was.

Overall, not as good as IM 1. I think Joe Morgenstern of WSJ summed it up succinctly: don't succumb to all the hype surrounding this spectacle.

  It was indeed a typical summer blockbuster: mindless good clean fun.
  
  Way too much "suit action" though if you ask me.
  (Reminded me of the old Roger Moore-007 movies, when the gadgets took over his Bond films. Fun, but kind of dumb at the same time.)
