Among the American shows I rate VERY highly The Killings, and The Good Wife is not too bad either.
There were a few silly, fluffy, mildly entertaining ones, the likes of Melissa and Joey or Hot in Cleveland, but the pickings are very slim.
Things like House of Cards only hold until you watch the original...
Ah... yes, and the oldies... I liked Friends, but didn't care at all for Seinfeld.
