I really wonder-
Follow Ups:
I always wondered if he was real. He posted constantly for a decade and then stopped completely at the exact time that outside closed. I wonder if he was a character invented to keep activity up with constant trolling.
Imagine how boring the internet would be if folks were as civil here as they are in person.
what the heck?
There used to be an unlinked forum called "outside asylum". It was basically a place to go let off steam. Lots of crazy talk, fighting, stuff that wouldn't be allowed in the rest of the forums. Tin was a tireless troll there for many years. They got sick of moderating it, closed it a few months back and tin disappeared at the exact same time. I always had a hard time believing he was a real person and when he was discontinued at the exact time outside closed I got even more suspicious.

"I'd like to own a squadron of tanks"
My supposition is after Outside and Water Cooler were jettisoned
they met at high noon somewhere for a knife fight to the death
but when finally face to face became enamored of each other and
skedaddled to Casablanca together.
Yes, it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship...
