Tony Scott directed "True Romance," but did QT discover JG for this film?
This film makes Malick a true one-trick pony. Faux artsy shots with endless narration and a story line that is marginal at best. I got it out of Redbox months ago and for good reason...it's not walk-in stuff.
as TNY's Denby or Lane. Anthony Lane, I'd argue, is by far the best critic, not only for his selections, but his explication.
