      and the type of movie. The worst is the hot new release (first matinee) where people sneak off from work to see it. Constantly checking for calls and messages--these folks should be fired.

        town, plus NW folks are much more laid back. Slowest drivers in America. The land of mellow. Ken Kesey was from here. His spirit lives on.
        I can count on one hand the number of times anyone has been asked to put up the phone; they always do, right away. It's been some time, though, since I've seen it.

  Fortunately the last 2 flicks I've been to have been asshole free. Cinemark has strengthened their warnings as of late and, hopefully, that's discouraged would be violators.edit
