Looking fit as a fiddle despite being a million years old, Brosnan fought, scuffled, and killed his way through this semi-mature spy flick. Pierce was an ex-CIA black ops guy who did a lot of killing. The opening sequence showed him working with a new recruit who failed to follow orders which ended badly. When Broson was reactivated to bring-in a woman spy (ex-squeeze) from Moscow he becomes ensnared in a web of deceit and death. In addition, the recruit he was working was now pitted directly against him.
Brosnan was good and supported well by a cast of recognizable faces with no names. Lots of action and Brosnan does a few bad things but, hey, it wasn't personal it was business. It would make a good evening at home on a disk.
Follow Ups:
...('Hitman', 'Oblivion') is fine actor and really nice to look at, while everyone else played their roles well. But Luke Bracey, for me, is just another unrecognizable, dime-a-dozen prettyboy with little if any 'heart'. Brosnan was GREAT. The story is little complicated, too, but well worth my 2 hours, twice.Recommended.

...doesn't need to be a good tennis player, or a decent actress... she just needs to be a Russian... it seems! :-)Here's another one for you "Russian beauty" lovers!
PS. The Russian mail order wife in Orange was funny.
